Technically spoken, the CineVision 3D app uses Apple‘s public media services frameworks for connecting, streaming and decoding media streams. The connection is made between the device, your internet provider and the streaming providers directly, most of them even will provide SSL encryption (streaming via https://…). Exotic media formats (not officially supported by Apple’s media decoders) or encrypted or authentication requiring streams just are not supported.
Especially the app does also not control or filter the streaming media content in any way. This is completely left at the users responsibility.
