Some user questions did make me somewhat curious, but I want to emphasise that my apps generally do NOT share any user data or user consumption data with me, nor does it submit or share any of such data to or with Apple or anyone. I am not even interested in collecting user data with my apps at all.
( We are specifically NOT interested in what dirty ‚Schmuddels Movies‘ the users might consuming. 😑 )
( However I cannot give any guarantees, what Apple is possibly ‚sniffing‘ on any particular device or the accessed Apple frameworks, which are always totally opaque to 3rd party developers. )
Technically spoken, the CineVision 3D app uses Apple‘s public media services frameworks for connecting, streaming and decoding media streams. The connection is made between the device, your internet provider and the streaming providers directly, most of them even will provide SSL encryption (streaming via https://…). Exotic media formats (not officially supported by Apple’s media decoders) or encrypted or authentication requiring streams just are not supported.
Especially the app does also not control or filter the streaming media content in any way. This is completely left at the users responsibility.

Any streaming media content most likely is ALWAYS copyrighted or licensed by the external streaming services, which provide such content.
CineVision 3D does not provide any copyrighted material and does not include any external streaming services, except our own for demonstration purposes. This is by the way also a strict requirement for distribution of 3rd party apps via the Apple AppStores in general.
